About Lisa
I studied Psychology at Victoria University and received a Bachelor of Arts and Post Graduate Certificate in Psychology and Education about two decades ago.
I later studied Energy Therapies in Europe, where I lived for 9 years, and New Zealand which enriched the way I viewed the world and gave deeper meaning too and skill when working with people. Alongside which I received a Certificate in Therapeutic Massage and discovered the profound effects of Massage to add to my eclectic style. and holistic health therapeutic approach.

Later I graduated in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) and Acupuncture in December 2017 with a Bachelor of Health Science in Acupuncture and Tuina (Chinese Massage) Diploma.
I am now happy to say I am a registered member of Acupuncture New Zealand and an approved ACC treatment service provider able to bring you a safe, competent and respectful practice to a high standard.
The essence of KORU Acupuncture and Cupping is reflected in its name 'KORU' - the unfurling of the new shoots that grow from the New Zealand Native Fern as they stretch and develop. Symbolizing new beginnings, personal growth, positive change, balance and harmony.
The circular shape of the KORU conveys the idea of perpetual movement just as YIN and YANG perpetually move into one another-interconnected, interdependent and inter-transformational.
